My nomination was announced to the whole school at the assembly.
Junior classes campaigning went bad.
Jeyenth got the little kids cheers to his side.
I was actually scared for a moment then, but realized all the votes Jeyenth would ever get were those of little immature kids.

19th June 2007
The cavalry arrived to my rescue in the form of the 11th stds.
11 A exploded when I set foot in their class.
So did 12 A.

20th June 2007
The voting was conducted at lunch.

0 period: Chemistry
At the end of 0 period, LS announced on the intercom: "And now for the results of the eagerly awaited elections: first off, the cultural secretary is V Vi..."

That's all I could hear, cause pretty much the whole block erupted in cheers. Hell I had to find out the exact number of votes I beat Sharanya by from N Lakshmi cause I knew theirs was the only class which would've been silent. :D
